El Dorado Disposal operates recycling centers in El Dorado Hills, Cameron Park and Placerville, open Tuesday through Saturday. Cardboard recycling is available in El Dorado Hills and Cameron Park. Placerville takes CRV containers only.

Placerville Recycling Center Hours and Location
Tues – Sat 9 AM - 3:30 PM

Accepted Materials
- The Placerville recycling center offers CRV recycling and buy back only.
- Cardboard is not accepted at this facility.
- Please take cardboard to the cardboard recycling center at our MRF, 4100 Throwita Way in Placerville.
- Household Batteries Accepted for free for El Dorado County Residents. Positive & negative ends of batteries must be taped with clear tape. No duct tape.
- No car, motorcycle or other large batteries accepted.

- Cardboard bin for all cardboard, newspaper, magazines.
- Green waste bin for El Dorado Hills CSD residents only. Maximum of 2 yards of green waste daily, must be loose or in paper compostable bags only. No commercial or landscapers permissible.
- E-Waste Accepted for free for El Dorado County Residents.
*No TVs larger than 60", TVs larger than 60" must be brought to the MRF at 4100 Throwita Way, Placerville.
