Residential Service - Garbage
General Instructions All trash service levels include one trash waste cart, PLUS - one 96-gallon cart for curbside commingled recycling and one 96-gallon cart for curside yard and garden service. Trash carts will be serviced on a weekly basis. Service on recycling and yard/garden carts will alternate weekly. Container Options Garbage charges are based on container size. You may use: A 64-gallon cart provided by El Dorado Disposal. A 96-gallon cart provided by El Dorado Disposal. Do not put these items in your garbage: Computers and TVs Motor Oil Hazardous Waste Needles or syringes Yard Waste Loose or hot ashes Dead animals Loose cat litter or animal waste (please double bag) Unbagged packing pellets or sawdust Concrete, rocks, or dirt Hazardous Waste Left over waste from hazardous household products can be found in almost every home. The average family generally has more than 60 hazardous products in their home. Keeping hazardous waste in your home or garage can endanger the health and safety of your family and pets. Putting them in the garbage puts collectors and laborers at risk. Pouring them down the drain overloads sewage facilities and endangers fish and other animals. Bulky Garbage Bulky items like mattresses, appliances, console televisions, furniture and building materials can be picked up by special arrangement.
